IHCL Goa Champions Inclusion on World Cultural Diversity Day

On the occasion of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development observed on May 21, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) Goa celebrates the spirit of unity through diversity that defines not only Goa, but also the hospitality industry at large. Through initiatives such as The Tribal Food Festival in association with Tata Steel Foundation at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Goa, regional food festivals at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, cross-cultural team engagements at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, local artisan collaborations at Taj Cidade de Goa and the celebration of diverse Goan festivals like Sao Joao, Carnival parade, Cake mixing ceremonies across its hotels, IHCL Goa continues to foster an environment of inclusion, learning and shared experiences.

At a time when cultures, traditions and perspectives continue to shape meaningful human connections, the day serves as a reminder of the importance of inclusion, mutual respect and dialogue in building stronger communities and enriching guest experiences. Recognised globally by UNESCO and the United Nations, the day highlights the role of cultural diversity in fostering peace, sustainable development and social harmony.

Speaking on the occasion, Ranjit Phillipose, Senior Vice President – Operations, IHCL Goa, said, “Goa has always been a beautiful confluence of cultures, traditions and stories from across the world.
