Rahul Gandhi is permitted by a Delhi court to get a passport for three years

Congressman Rahul Gandhi received a no-objection certificate (NOC) from a Delhi court on Friday for the issuing of a “ordinary passport” for a period of three years.
Gandhi had petitioned the court after giving up his diplomatic passport after losing his eligibility to serve as an MP.
“I'm approving your application in part. Not for ten years, but for three,” the court informed Gandhi's attorney.
In the National Herald case, which has BJP leader Subramanian Swamy as the plaintiff, the former head of the Congress is one of the defendants.
