IPL 2023: Centurion Shubman Gill claims that they were perhaps his best Indian Premier League innings

Shubman Gill, the opening batsman for the Gujarat Titans, said on Friday that his third century of the year was “probably” the finest of his IPL career.

With a 60-ball 129, Gill continued his hot streak as Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs to go to their second consecutive IPL final.

At the post-game presentation, Gill commented, “I think this was probably my best innings so far in the IPL.”

The fashionable opener believes his batting has benefited greatly from the mechanical adjustments he has made.

“Since the most recent West Indies trip, I believe my game has improved. I was injured before the most recent IPL, but I have been working on my technique. Prior to the NZ series after the T20 World Cup, I have worked on a few areas and made technical modifications, he stated.

When asked how he handles expectations, Gill said, “Expectations are something that follow you outside the ropes, but once you step onto the field it is all about trying how to contribute for the team.”

For Gill, a strong start is essential if he wants to earn a lot of points.

“For me, it involves repeatedly playing ball to ball. I gained the drive to go big after the over when I smacked three sixes. I then realized that it may really be my day.

“It was also a nice wicket for batting. Not consciously, you constantly coming up with new ideas as a batter, but for me, the conviction is more important. I just finished a successful international season. had a successful season the previous time. I know I can score well if I get off to a good start,” he said.
