Actor Nitesh Pandey, 51, Passes Away From A Cardiac Arrest

At the age of 51, actor Nitesh Pandey, who played Dheeraj Kumar in the highly regarded television programme “Anupamaa,” went unexpectedly from a heart attack.

According to reports, the actor had a severe heart attack late on Tuesday night in Igatpuri, close to Nashik. He immediately gave in to the same.

In 1990, Nitesh began his theatrical career. He was cast as a detective in “Tejas” in 1995. Later, he appeared in serials as “Manzilein Apani Apani,” “Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani,” “Saaya,” and “Durgesh Nandini.”

Besides working on television, he also worked in cinema. Many people praised his work in the National Award-winning movie “Khosla Ka Ghosla.” 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Badhaai Do' were two more films in which he appeared.

He also worked on the television programme Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara and owned Dream Castle Productions, an independent production company.

Nitesh, who has been a well-known face in the television business for more than 20 years, was last seen in “Anupama” and “Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.” He hails from the Uttarakhand region of Almora Kumaon.

His wife, Arpita Pandey, an actress, is now his only heir.

They first connected via the television programme “Justajoo,” and in 2003, they were married.

Ashwini Kalsekar, an actress, and Nitesh were previously wed.
